Problem with Digimon World ds rom when using the newest version 7.1

hey guys, I've come across an annoying problem in digimon world ds.

I can start the game fine, but for some reason after 10-15 minutes of the intro when you have to select your starter, I can't move. The game is running, the music is playing, even the characters in the background are walking.

When this happened i restarted the game and tried it again but the same thing happened.
After that happened I tried the No $ gba and the same thing happened.

Therefore I've come across a problem with the rom, and just one but several that I have downloaded.
If anyone has had this problem and/or know a way to fix it, help would be appreciated.

I think they are using a version that is older than our universe: http://desmume.org/2007/06/13/desmume-v071-released/

Please guy update immediately to 0.9.5 but remember that your savestate wouldn't work.

a guy on the bug tracker got stuck in 0.9.4 also. No news yet on newer versions. Well, I can't find it now, but I swear I was lecturing him on save files and stuff.

I'm on the newest, DeSmuME 0.9.6 x86, and this happened to me too. I got a call from the DigiFarm and although the farm camera and my other digimon are moving, I can't answer. Tried restarting, works when I start a new game, I've even tried reconfiguring the A button just in case.. This is very frustrating, I've put a lot of time into this game! Does anyone have any advice or know what I can do??

That just happens in this game. We don't know why. Make sure youre using save files instead of savestates. That may help, or it may not.

press the start button and save, then reset the game and select continue, then try
