Problem on inserting cheat codes

Every time I try to enter a action replay code I got a message saying it couldn't save the cheat file. Just installed DeSmuME, Win XP 32 bits. Not a single protection stuff on the HD.

Re: Problem on inserting cheat codes

delete your ini  file. or, if you're savvy, look for weird looking paths in the ini file and fix them. or quit running the emulator from the zipfile, or from a cdrom, or from program files, or from a jump drive (run it instead from your desktop). one of those ought to solve your problem.

Re: Problem on inserting cheat codes

Please show me what to look for in order to delete an "ini" file. I am having the same issue but I am not savvy with technical terms.

Re: Problem on inserting cheat codes

or rather, for Pokemon Pearl, are there no cheats that we can use as of yet? ...Maybe it's the fact that my computer only seems to support up to version 9.4 of DeSmuME, and that's what I've been trying to enter codes into using the list function under cheats and entering codes that come up on google under "pokemon pearl action replay codes".  Maybe 9.5 likes codes better.
