Layer Issue?

Hey, I've been trying to get this to work for a while. Kirby Canvas Curse, the layer that the stencil draws doesnt appear. FFTA2, the bottom screen is just black. TWEWY, I hit new game and it just goes black. In all these games, everything else runs normally. Sound is fine, controls work the same, I just cant see certain things. I'm guessing it has something to do with the layers. They are all on. I have no idea. Can anyone help?

Re: Layer Issue?

1) Are you using 0.9.5 version?
2) Are you using opengl or software rasterizer 3d renderer?

For optimum compatibility, use the newest version and software rasterizer.

Re: Layer Issue?

I am using 0.9.5. I have no idea what opengl or software rasterizer 3d renderer are. Where can I get them?

Re: Layer Issue?

It's a setting in desmume.

Config > 3D Settings

Then select SoftRasterizer in the drop-down

Re: Layer Issue?

my guess, he uses None.

go to Config>3D settings, choose either openGL or software rasterizer. either should work.

or press the Numpads' Minus (-) key. it will choose one for you.

Re: Layer Issue?

Software Rasterizer is the recommended mode if you get any graphical corruptions.

Computer specifications:
Windows 10 x64 | Ryzen 3700X | ASUS Crosshair Hero VIII (WiFI) Motherboard | 16GB 3600MHz RAM | Nvidia Geforce 1070Ti

Re: Layer Issue?

not necessarily. it's recommended to switch between the two and choose the one that works best for you.

(besides, I can confirm FFTA2 and TWEWY working well with OpenGL)
