Problem with .SAV file
I'm playing pokemon Platinum, and when i beat the league, the game restarted, and i didnt have a choice, prof rowan started talking like if there was no way to get into my saved game. i have the 1mb .SAV file but i can't make it work, im using desmume version 0.9.2
Your help would be greatly appreciated

yeah same problem here.
is there no way to play with the current save game when i set it to flash 4mbit?
EDIT:
solved it YAY!
1. download pokesav for your edition http://projectpokemon.org/editingresear … wnload.php
2. open your pokemon .sav file
3. choose 512kb file type, if it is not already selected
4. save the file
5. rename to original name
6. start desmume -> open pokemon rom and choose save type flash 4mbit
7. beat the league again or just load your save game if you have one after beat the champ
8. the game will save and the end screen will appear, after that it will say, the save game is corrupted but it will load it
voila you got it

it keeps starting a new game and my .sav file is the right size and in the right folder...

ok I used version 0.9.4 read the FAQ and tried gna's method and nothing works

wait for a 0.9.4 update which we will release at some point which will contain a special menu option to help out the six hundred million pokemon players who never bothered to test their savegames until they got to the end of the game and needed it.

Well, for me the save works find until now, haven't try up to the end of the game yet, but maybe I'll do it sometime later.
Also, since V0.9.4, the save files must be .DSV files, as well as the latest SVN Build, they uses the same save type as 0.9.4

One more question for those that having problem. Did you ever save the game using the in-game option throughout the whole game? If you always use savestates, it won't work because your savefile is the wrong size. If so, did you ever try loading the savegame from the savefile? Probably nope. So you don't know if it actually works. Your savefiles is broken.
