Desmemu Not Responding

I heard that this is a good emulator for hacking purposes of games and yeah i noticed  many good tools after seeing a demo however every time i try to open it, it doesn't even start it freezes and a message pops up. "Desmemu Is Not Responding" is there any problem or something i need to download specially for it? how can i fix it? thanks.

turn off your virus and spyware scanners. upgrade or downgrade your video drivers. make sure youre using the official build and not someone else's junk. also try a different exe from the archive. also are you even on the right site? this site is for desmume, not desmemu.
