Could not erase data. Turn the power off and reinsert the Game Card.

With many game like "New Super Mario Bros" or "Need For Speed Carbon" i get the message
"Could not erase data. Turn the power off and reinsert the Game Card", also "Mario and Luigi - Partners in Time" have a write error at the begin but it can be skipped, so i'm asking if there is a kind of memory error, if it can be fixed or if is only a my problem...
This thing persist from 0.3 version of desmume and i would understand a little more.

P.S: sorry for my english, it's not my native language tongue

Some games dont recognize the auto save-type option.
Just try diferent save types, it will solve the problem.

To lestath505, go under the Config option and on the drop-down menu, under save type and change it if needed.

Re: Could not erase data. Turn the power off and reinsert the Game Card.

Hi, I have version 0.3.6...., I'm triying to use NSMB and I get the same thing and there is no "menu" option, FILE-> Open, Open and Execute, Info Rom, Esc
EMULATION-> Execute, Pause, Reset, Key Rom
TOOL -> Disassembler, View is Memory, etc.

There is nothing I can see that will change a save option, show I get the earlier version? Or does someone know what to do?

<I know this is my first post but I plan on using this forum ALOT more>

You might want to update your version to latest, which is 0.9.4 and not horrendously old like 0.3.6

Yeah, update to the latest official version or SVN Builds or try a different game if you want to stick to V0.3.6.
