Pokemon Platinum Compatibility Error w/ MAC

I can't seem to get Pokemon Platinum OR Pokemon Diamond to start up. I get this Error.

ERROR

An Emulation Error Occurred

I wish it was more detailed than that, but that's what I get. I can play other ROMS but I can't play those particular ones. Can anyone help me?

We dont have a mac programmer, just a guy that drops by and makes builds. You can't expect much. When your model Z-819 combination accordion / unicycle breaks, you don't expect anyone to know how to fix it; likewise for something as relatively obscure as a mac.

I will admit I laughed out loud at that analogy, but is there no chance this guy who drops by to make builds could provide any help?

I really doubt it. It is a higher level of investment altogether to debug specific games. All the mac developers are busy crapping garbage into the iphone app store, and an iphone can't run desmume, so I am guessing that interest is low right now.

I'd pay that guy to make pokemon platinum work on mac desmume.
