We won't make a 3DS/2DS emulator.

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.

Hi, the first task you perform as an adult is to get the Refreshroom, during the mushroom holding stance once you collected it there is poor performance the sprite flickers until the collection stance is finished. Another issue I noticed is that the numbers when leveling up are not shown.

I'm using some SSE2 build 7xx that Squall gave me.

EDIT: yea, the firmware file included does not work o_O the emulator doesn't decrypt it so either it is a dummy file (likely) or I dunno. Anyways there is also minor corrupion in the character sprites during battle.

Overall this emulator performs better then no$gba and has actual working save states smile but no$gba has only the numbers when leveling up bug,  it doesn't have any other issues in it.

I was wondering if there is a way to turn off frameskip yet retain the framerate cap of 60fps? setting it to 0 lets the emulator run as fast as it can on my machine hmm

my post is a scatter, but I hope you can understand it tongue

Re: Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.

Desmume svn now is up to 17xx revision, so if you're REALLY using a 7xx revision, better compile a newer one YOURSELF.

Re: Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.

... Or download a recent build from the website
wink

Bottom line: can you re-produce the problem with a recent release of DeSmuME ? Also, I found your original post on what the problem exactly was a bit confusing. Could you try again with a more recent release, and if the problem still exists, try to explain in more detail what it is that you were expecting, and what it is that the emulator does ?

Regards,

John Smith.

Re: Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.

Sorry, I meant I have a revision 17xx and revision 1685 build of Desmume 0.92. I do not know or wish to create a environment suitable for compiling newer builds of Desmume.

1) when upgrading a character in Mario & Luigi 2, the numbers that appear showing you how much each each stat goes up by does not appear correctly.

2) when battling enemies after entering the first Time Warp Tunnel as adults, there is a incorrect sprite flickering during a particular part of the Mario BROS. idle animations.

3) sprite corruption with the completion stance when collecting the refreshroom (first objective in the game).

http://www.mediafire.com/file/zmw3jnyiyuo/Desmume.7z

2 save states showing 2 bugs (may be ROM dependent, since it is a pre-release scene) and the version of Desmume tested with was Desmume 0.9.2 x86 SSE2 msvc 1500 (compiled 21/03/09 06:29:01).

Re: Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.

Franpa: Just report/write the revision version of desmume used, I won't allow here custom builds in order to avoid builds containing stuff that shouldn't.

Re: Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.

Question: How do I update the Game Compatibility List? This game is significantly more playable then waay back in 2007, only bugs I found are graphical and occur when receiving stat upgrades every time you level up and when you collect the Refreshroom as Adult Mario. (Refreshroom is the very first objective for Adult Mario in the game)

Checked in 0.92.

Please post new topics in their own, new topic instead of adding them to some other discussion. But to answer your question: There has been some discussion about the usefullness of the compatibility list, and even talk about just removing that list altogether and start to treat new incompatibilites as bugs.
