Conflicting Inputs

I'm somewhat of a noob when it comes to troubleshooting, so I am not really sure where to start. But basically, whenever I try pressing Z or X to press B or A in game, it'll move me in a direction rather than pressing that button. Like instead of it pressing A, it'll make me move downwards in the game, and instead of pressing B it'll make me move left. I'm assuming there's some inputs conflicting with one another but I'm not totally sure, since this is only a recent issue that has been happening. I've used desmume in the past and it's never had this issue so I'm not 100% sure what is causing it

Re: Conflicting Inputs

backup desmume.ini, then delete it. Also close your 3rd party pad mapping applications

Re: Conflicting Inputs

I actually found out the true "issue", which is unrelated to my controller or any settings. I'm specifically playing Magical Starsign, and I was unaware that they have a control scheme setup where both the D-Pad and A, B, Y, X can be used to move your character around. I think it's something about controls for both left-handed and right-handed people, but yeah it's not the emulator having issues it's just my brain

Re: Conflicting Inputs

thanks for reporting your findings. But what did you expect A and B to do if actually it moves the character? Does it look like there's a response button-driven UI when actually it's all touches only?
