Pokémon White 2 can’t create new save file.

I had an old save, so I started a new game but never deleted the old save file. When I tried to save it said “a save file already exists,” so I just created a save state that I kept loading from. Now I got to the theater part of the game where I have to save to continue, but no matter how I erase the old data then load the save state, delete the old .dsv files, import backup memory, etc, once I load the save state, it says there’s an old save that I have to erase. I imagine there must be some way to get my new save state to save so I can continue? This seems like a basic issue.

you ignored the warning. you reap the consequences. there is no workaround. you broke the game. imo the game shouldn't let you do what you did, but it does. they figured you'd read the warning. it wasn't exactly 'fine print'...

In Pokemon games, you have to press a bunch of buttons at the same time while on the title screen. For Pokemon White 2, it's the B, Up, and Select buttons.
