Cheats in Pokemon Platinum

None of the action replay cheats i use are working for me. I treid every advice i could find online but hey dont work. I Enabled cheats i checked if the codes are for europe and i reloaded the rom and emulator every time yet the cheats still dont work. Any other things i have to look for?

You may still be using cheats for american version. Or wrong cheats. Information is wrong. Cheating is hard. You'll be better off finding a forum full of pokemon cheaters. There are only a couple of cheaters here. What codes are you trying to use.

it's not really easy. who would watch a video saying this was really hard, and you should probably give up? They wouldn't make any money.
You also have to understand the games, and also how to read and think. You have to press hotkey combinations. You have to press them at the correct time. You have to wade through the misinformation on the web. You have to know to use the version of desmume your instructions said (or a newer one). You have to know not to muck around with savestates because it will mess everything up.

Having all that in mind: I just used the 99 pokeballs cheat from that page while standing in my bedroom in the first moment of the game. Worked fine for me. And I've never even played pokemon before. So figure out which one of the above things which make it difficult you're fouling up.

Well ok so 1. im reading and thinking or atleast im trying
2. im presing the hotkey combinations they are telling me to use and well im not aware of anyway of pressing them that is not just pressing them
3. the wading through misinfo is the reason im asking here because a second opinion is always good
4. i guess that could be a problem because i havent actuallay saved in game but well now i know. i just tryied downloading the rom a second time and trying out what u did but that also didnt work
5. im using the latest version of desmue so 9.13 and to be fair all the cheats i found where for 9.11 but as u said that shouldnot make a difference.

TL:DR i already tried ur propositions because i found those online too do you have any other ideas

use the 99 pokeballs cheat to confirm you know what you're doing.
if that works but the cheat you want doesn't, then you're misunderstanding the cheat and only a pokemon gamer can tell you what you're doing wrong (e.g. you are pressing the hotkey at the wrong time or you havent met other preconditions for the cheat being sensible)

Are you using clean version of Pokemon Europe (Rev 10) or hacked version of Pokemon Platinum (any names)? Here the codes!

I havent got any cheats to work i also tried using every region because i found a thread saying german version are apparently from the us but that didnt work either i also just tried downloading a american version witch also didnt work so im just confused at this point.
i also cant find anymore info on the site i use on weather it is a clean or hacked version nor do i know how to check since im really new to emulating.
Regardles i think ill give up on cheating if its that bothersome but thank u too anyway for trying to help. Have a nice day!!

Yes, you must use "(Europe) (Rev 10)" version. Nobody else will have made cheats for the random specific locale versions or if they have they're less vetted and more likely to be messed up trash.
