Explorers of Sky white screen bug on mac.

Hello, I wanted to play Explorers of Sky on my mac with Desmume. However when I started the ROM, it played the sound, but has a white screen and isn't loading. I saw another thread with this same problem and there it said to go to the config, then display method. I can't find either of these on my mac to fix this problem. How can I fix this problem on my mac?

config, display method are on the windows desmume version only.
what you're probably doing wrong is using an old version of desmume.
