Emulator not working
I have been using this desmume for a while now but haven't encountered this problem ever. Everytime I drag the rom into the application (like i normally do) it doesn't open, then, if i open the emulator and open the rom from there, it freezes then crashes, don't know what to do

make backups of everything. then download it all again. you have some broken cheats or save data, probably
