Does the latest update cause the device to freeze?

I'm playing the game, but my computer freezes, this happened recently when I updated Pokemon platinum to the new version. So I've been slipping in games lately. I don't know if it's my computer or a faulty update. Have you encountered this situation?

It's a coincidence. If your computer freezes while running desmume, there's a problem with your computer. Scan for malware, uninstall garbage, blow dust out of your fans, check for malfunctioning hardware.
