Hi,
I'm on Windows 10 and my Desmume 0.9.11 worked perfectly until now, but recently I've got a weird problem.
When I launch the emulator, all of the options that I had previously checked have been removed. In addition, when I switch to fullscreen, the previous 'little' screen freezes and remains on the top left-hand corner.
I think it's due to windows because I tried previous versions of Desmume, and X432R, and the problem is the same.
Do you have any idea ? That's very annoying : /
Thanks for your help.

stop running desmume from the zip file. dearchive all files to a directory on your desktop. that fixes the settings disappearing problem.
change config > display method for the other issue

Hi Zeromus,
Thanks for your answer.
I've never launched Desmume from the zip file, I've extracted the files in a folder, and only use it.
I tried what you tell me, to extract the files on desktop. I launched the emulator, set up the options, and then closed and opened it again, but the same problem occured.
I think I understand better what happens. To be more precise : I play with SoftRasterizer, and when I choose in displaymethod directdraw HW or SW, I get the remaining screen. But in the other hand, when I choose direct 3d, It works perfectly until I close the emulator and get the message "Direct 3D Display method failed", and then, when I reopen it the option is back to directdraw SW.
What should I do ?

And this experiment didnt prompt you to try the opengl display method?

of course I already tried opengl, which is much more bugged than softrasterizer.

I said "opengl display method", not the opengl 3d renderer.
Wait a minute, what direct3d thing are you talking about? Desmume doesn't support direct3d. "Direct 3D Display method failed" doesn't exist in the source code

Thanks for helping me realize I was a dummy, because I was currently using the X432R version of Desmume, hence our misunderstanding.
Sorry to have wasted your time, you should delete this thread.
