Can't access save file

I was playing pokemon platinum, and before I left, I dropped a save file on file 1 within desmume, for some reason now I can't access the files, whenever I load up the game ROM and press "load file one" is says, "error loading from 1 slot". I'm on version 0.9.12.

Re: Can't access save file

stop running desmume from the zipfile or flash drives. dearchive everything to a directory on your desktop and work from there. otherwise, check for rogue security software "cleaning" "unknown files" from your system or ask your kid brother if he's messing with your computer

Re: Can't access save file

I also fill none of those areas, it's still telling me "error loading from one slot"

Re: Can't access save file

It's also possible the savestate got corrupted due to bad disk or freak accident. Check your disk to see if the file actually exists. Did you rename the rom file?

Re: Can't access save file

I had to go looking through things, for some reason another "stateslots" folder was created in downloads, and it contained my save file? But it has now been fixed.

Re: Can't access save file

Simple way to avoid that problem:  dearchive everything to a directory on your desktop and work from there
