Rocket Slime not working. Can't even start playing.

My game doesn't work properly The first screen displays well as seen in fig1. in the second screen (fig2.) the title is missing, third screen is ok (fig3.) however on the 4th screen (fig4.) it's so bad, I can click letters and sounds come out but there's no other indication of any input, nothing changes anywhere. There's only the sound of buttons being pressed. Anyone know a fix to this? A solution? Thank you in advance.

hacked or broken rom, or hacked or broken desmume. reacquire each. or, broken computer or internet connection. fix either or use someone else's internet connection.
