Barcode reader for cards or codes to enter from scanned barcodes

I am a fan of arcade game Mushiking when I was young and I discovered that there is a DS Game titled Mushiking Super Collection. It allows you to scan your old cards from arcade by making use of a card reader included to the game when you buy it. I still have my cards at my place. I'd like to know if there is a way I can scan them thrugh the emulator or enter the code that was scanned from the barcode of the card.
