"Battery"? DS games did not use batteries for their save data...

Wouldn't it make more sense if the name of said folder was just the more generic "Saves" or alternatively, to use VBA-M terminology, "NativeSaves"?

Saves (desmume) = NativeSaves (VBA-M) = Battery (No$gba)

Almost same kind! wink Unless yourself change them itself under path setting and under Desmume subfolder.

Same as with other system emulators with owned save battery file.

Uhhh, my stock copy of DeSmuME 0.9.11 used "Battery" for native saves...

Must have been tradition at the time it was decided. We're not changing this, it will scramble too many people for no gain whatsoever. NativeSaves is nonsense anyway.
