Re: Some 2D layers missing!

Well, Thanks for your help. DeSmuME is the best NDS emulator.

Re: Some 2D layers missing!

I have no idea where to get the chinese translation patches, so I can't test these. Please supply URLs.

I'm guessing the treasure report bug has to do with this
https://sourceforge.net/p/desmume/bugs/1406/
which I fixed in r5049

problem 3 (missing aunt) is just a softrasterizer vs opengl issue and wont be fixed.

I don't know how to get to that point in twilight syndrome so I can't test it.

Re: Some 2D layers missing!

the point of Twilight Syndrome looks like load the save, choose the second option in the first screen

and great thanks for fixing bug#1406

Re: Some 2D layers missing!

thanks findpkq, that helped me find the scene....
the game is setting the EVA register = 0 which means the sprites should be invisible, if they're on top of the right BG (and they are.)
I have no idea why nocash renders the sprites. In fact, it looks kind of bad on nocash. Theres a bunch of sprite blending stuff going on there that isn't visible at all.. it's all opaque. Shouldnt the panels be semitransparent? It looks like the game is trying to set that up. Maybe the game is doing something really weird and even nocash isnt rendering it correctly.

662263-3.jpg

Treasure Report (J)_CHS_Translation.rar
https://www.sendspace.com/file/1mpn85

Re: Some 2D layers missing!

yes, it is hard to fix the Twilight Syndrome load and save screen error.
no, the opengl issue won't be fixed. It is most likely one of a million such errors and is the fault of an inaccuracy which can only be fixed on accident.

Re: Some 2D layers missing!

in desmume the buttons are drawing on top of bg0 with 0% opacity. in nocash, the buttons seemed to have 0% opacity and im not sure why they appeared.
