Re: dsv different

IIRC DraStic's .dsv saves are simply normal .sav, i.e. raw save data without any header and footer.

Re: dsv different

.dsv has no header. i think a .drastic file lacks the obvious text footer only, and contains the logical text footer. paste that in there with a hex editor, or consult the drastic author for guidance on why his file format differs from ours (he interpreted the format to mean that the footer is optional), and how he suggests you cope with it.

Re: dsv different

if drastic's .dsv doesnt work in desmume, then it is broken. go ask drastic for support with their broken .dsv.

Re: dsv different

Sounds like you need to be talking to drastic users or pokegen users. Once you have a legal .dsv, come talk to us. Drastic's broken .dsvs arent our problem.

Umm I had same problem with .dsv from Drastic, also from Pokegen BUT I think the problem is with latest Desmume! because with older versions of Desmume (I downloaded 0.9.9) drastic's .dsv works perfectly and doesn't require converting drastic's .dsv to .sav and importing it to desmume like in the 0.9.10 version.

cheers
