The buzzing sound is gone but now the sound is all static and distorted. The music plays fine but its the sound FX that are the problem. The sound settings are all set to what I found what they should be set to for this game.
Synchronous
Synch Method P
XA2 Audio
Buffer Size 5880
Cosine for best sound..
Advanced SPU is on
Any ideas?
Thanks

you need to have a beefy system to play this game. dont use cosine filtering. choose different synch methods and output methods and buffer sizes and you might get lucky--the optimal values for those depends entirely on your system and have almost nothing to do with the game.

OK. Can you please tell me my optimal settings then for my PC specs.
I5 3570K 4.5GHZ
2GB 6950
8GB DDR3
Is my system beefy enough? I would sure hope so as I can run most PS2 game at 4x native res at 60+FPS
Also changing the interpolation does nothing at all. There is no change.
Thanks

nobody can tell you the optimal settings for your PC specs. you have to find them yourself.
try disabling the JIT, it may confuse golden sun. your system should be beefy enough not to have trouble due to performance problems. how fast it can run PS2 games is completely irrelevant.

Well I dont know whats the cause of my problem is but after some playing around it seems to maybe only be at certain parts in the game. I do not know but as of now Its fixed and working properly. I thought maybe Saved States was causing it but that's not it.
