I want to import my AR DSi save of Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals into DeSmuME v9.7. But when I import the .duc file, the emulator says the save can't be read and to re-insert the cartridge. I have tried converting the .duc into .sav via the link in the faq, but the emulator doesn't even see it and writes a new battery. Am I missing something or is there a trick to using imports?
Thank you in advance,

are you sure the region of rom youre using matches the region of the game youre playing? post the .duc and i'll take a look. sometimes theres something fishy going on. sometimes AR creates .ducs which are useless and meaningful only to your AR device. sometimes theres nothing going on and it just magically works for me.

using r 4878
i thought that i would try a few random .duc files from gamefaqs and not one of them would load properly
either game data corrupt or just would not load it
tried it auto and manually save and there were no .dsv files in the battery save to start off with
here is the link for the .duc files

at the very immediate present, the backup memory code has been completely overhauled. check before crazymax's commits or wait for 0.9.10 release branch before drawing conclusions about .ducs
at any rate, .ducs are commonly importing wrongly due as far as i can tell to whatever produces the .ducs generating nonsense files which only it knows how to interpret correctly based on some prior knowledge of the target game.

it last worked on r 4877 and was broken on r 4878 but it looks like CrazyMax has fixed it now
