Kingdom Hearts 365/2 days ending problems

I have played through the entire game but when i get to the final cutscene it plays through xions final words then goes to only a black screen. I have tried several different settings to try and figure out what to do and tried looking for it everywhere i could but have been unable to find anything. Since it screws up at the end of the cutscene it does not allow me to continue on to the end of the game i cant save. Essentially its stopping me from getting any farther than the part right before you fight xion. Any help would be appreciated. (sorry if its wordy/rambly) I am running on version0.9.8 x86 of DeSmuME.

Computer Specs:
4gb ram
AMD Turion (tm) II P560 Dual-Core Processor 2.50 GHz
windows 7 64bit

*if i need to give any more information then just ask and ill try to get back asap. (i didnt put my video card because at the time i couldnt find what it is)
