Save issue

I've played Pokemon White a couple times a while ago and it worked fine. I felt like playing it again, I downloaded Desmume 0.9.8 for Windows. I played for about 4 hours, saved 2 times and used 3 state saves. I closed the rom and came back next morning and none of my save files were there and it wasn't in my recent roms either!

How do I fix this!?

For anyone wanting to change where the saves are kept:

Open the desmume.ini file with notepad ect. and change the field of the battery to the folder directory you want and save.

Example: Battery=C:\programs\desmume\desmume saves

Should work, otherwise consult the wiki.

Why wouldn't you use Config -> Path Settings?
