Best PC configuration(specs) for DS

Just wondering, Im getting a new PC soon, and I was wondering what the ideal PC would have to run DeS as best as possible and as accurate as possible. Ive seen some videos where the sound, speed and graphics are astounding on the PC running DeS. While Im not solely getting it for DeS I just wanna know what to look for so I get the best performance.

So far I definitely will be getting a quad core intel with at least 3.2 gHz ( cant find any at 4.0 and dont wanna really overclock it ) with 4-8 gb of ram and prolly a nVidia graphics card cuz my bro says ATI suck now. Is it true that core2 duos are better then quads overall unless you just need that much power for photoshop and other extreme graphic demanding software?
