oh yeah unlucky coincidence wasnt it.
i have no answer for why the mic sample doesnt work there. luckily theres a workaround so i dont care much.
but in general, i am obligated (contractually) to provide you with the following browbeating:

when you have a problem, press every button until it works, or you run out of buttons. come on people.

I'm having a similar problem, but its at the cell phone part where you have to push the big blue redial button, no matter what angle it is it just doesn't work.
and I've got the latest version, anybody got a save file after it?

Mmm... What version are you using? Because I passed through that part without problems with the 0.9.6 published version, not the source ones.

And second, when you selected that part with the mouse, it should appear a command that says examine, press or something like that, in that part you have to do click with the mouse (IIRC). Did you tried to do that?

I'd also like to ask if anyone has come across the same problem as kicker_exe.

I can't figure out the correct angle to examine the cellphone's redial button in this game. I'm using 0.9.6 for mac, does this affect anything?

I have found your solution.

With the current version, the locations to examine are difficult to click correctly. They often fail to show up when they should.

For the cellphone, in order to hit the recall button, i needed to flip the phone upside down. I was then able to examine the button and end the section.

Will see if it works for the rest of the case.

@Shuda51 Thank you so much! I can't believe I had to flip the phone upside down, I was stuck at this part and couldn't figure out how to progress.
