running too fast

Hi. can anyone please help on Black Sigil-Blade of the Exiled. The game is running too fast and i have reached a point in the game where you have to beat the clock to continue and it is impossible as you have to dodge traps and also fight battles in normal time (cannot escape these battles) buy the clock is running at almost twice the normal speed and its not possible to reach the exit. Is there anyway i can remedy this as i am through over half the game. Hope you can help.

turn on Frame Limiter

in main menu Config->Frame Skip->Limit frameskip
and set Frameskip to 0 (never skip)
