aliasing in win7

sorry for my poor english again

when i  zoom the screen,it seems to  soften in xp and some win7
but when i use some computers running win7,there's many aliasing
the same verson and off manification filter
does desmume have auto Anti-aliasing or fog rendering when zooming the window?

how can i solve this problem? as i know this problem happens in many other emulators in win7

is it a system problem or  a Graphics driver problem? can desmume fix it?

by the way,how is the fog in opengl ,about

"
its not impossible to add fog, it just required capabilities that the version used (1.2) was incapable of.

"

well,i know i am such a tiresome man tongue

sorry for my poor english again

thank you for your patience
sincerely

Re: aliasing in win7

it is a system problem with windows 7, and there is no way to fix it. you can exert some control over it by using the config > display method menu. Desmume could fix it, but we havent done it yet.

Why do you have to ask about the fog in opengl? Try a game that uses fog and switch between opengl and softrasterizer and decide the difference yourself.

It isnt impossible to add fog.

Re: aliasing in win7

using DirectDraw software, instead of DirectDraw hardware *should* restore bilinear filtering to the resized window. (But i don't know if desmume responds the same way as old VBA did).

Under XP, hardware ddraw implied bilinear filtering, where as under vista and 7 it had to be toggled as a setting.

Re: aliasing in win7

thats typical. the filtering is out of our control while using directdraw.
new svn releases have opengl display method where it is under our control. check the web for svn releases or wait for 0.9.9
