Using Slot-Save for NO missing In-Game Data

Have you ever had your in-game saved data on DesMuMe suddenly disappear? Well, if you’re ever worried about it, then try slot saving. Press Shift+F(whatever number you chose, F1, F2, etc up to F10) to slot save to that slot. Later, when you want to load the data, press the F-Number you chose (without the shift) and you should be able to load your slot-saved data. The good thing about this is there are 10 SEPARATE slots for EACH game. Hope this helps :)

P.S: Leave a message if it really helped you :)

Re: Using Slot-Save for NO missing In-Game Data

I knew about it, but does that mean I can have multiple character saves if i'm saving a pokemon game? Like save as Mira, make a new game and save as that character, and so on? If so that's great, i didn't think of trying that before. Wish I had, It'd saved me a lot of trouble, haha ^^;

yes, you could. I play Megaman ZX and Megaman ZX Advent, and I have save files for both characters, all on easy, normal AND hard mode. Slot save seriously helps. smile

Its also not cross version compatible and restores any dirty memory as well which can introduce instability.
