Using save files on older versions of Desmume?
I beat Pokemon Platinum on 0.9.8, but I like 0.9.7 for its ability of wifi. When I tried to load the save file, an error came up saying "Error loading savestate. It failed halfway through; Since there's no savestate backup system, your current game session is wrecked". Yes, I do realize now that savestates are more reliable and dependable than save files, but at the time of playing Platinum, I didn't know that. Anyways, is there a way to make it work for previous versions? It's not too big of a deal if I have to start over, I'd just prefer not to at the moment.

You meant save files are more dependable than savestates.
No way to get savestates to work on older versions.
