Loading roms on Mac OS X

Hello,

I am using Mac OS X, and I have two versions of DeSmuME :
- DeSmuME 0.7.1 that I've compiled myself from the source
- DeSmuME 0.7.3 Cocoa version for Mac OS

The problem is that I can load my roms with the first version, but not with the second one. When I try to open a rom with DeSmuME for Mac OS, I see a white upper-screen and a black lower-screen, and nothing happens. I thought that both versions worked the same, and that only the interface was different. What's wrong ?
