DeSmuME doesn't open in Windows Vista

Ok I've downloaded the new versions, old version etc. And NONE of them will work on my computer. Well they open but not open. They're shown in the Task Manager but never open a window. It's like it's completely frozen and doesn't open. I'm not sure why it does this.

My computer:

HP
Intel Pentium Dual Core Desktop Processor E2200
3GB RAM
Windows Vista

Everyone else can run it but not me and it's bothering me since I need it for screenshots and videos.

Can you help me please? ^^;

delete your ini file. turn off your virus scanner.

I doubt that is the issue. I even copied my friends .ini file... and nothing. >_<

Ok, that isn't the issue. Often, coders of the program itself don't know how it works.

Looks like no one knows it but the actual coders... I'm just getting empty answers.
