Pokemon Pearl: Game froze while...

Trading pokemon to the girl in Ore-something or other town where the first badge comes from. We were gonna trade machop and abra, and I didn't even have any backup saved games. I feel foolish about that...In any case, is there anyone who knows about a specific way to help the trade along? Or is it just a bug?

Trading (with NPCs) doesn't work in Desmume 0.9.4. It only works in the latest SVNs. You may want to get one or wait for the official 0.9.5
