pokemon platinum freezes when I try to use SOME action reply codes.

title pretty much says it all, whenever I try to use some action reply codes pokemon platinum freezes, try restart the game, but as long as the code is there, it freezes.  Is it the code it self making the game crash or is it the emu?

either is possible and theres no way to know short of trying it in another emulator. I bet some codes can freeze games due to emulator bugs, other codes can freeze games due to the code being bad or used on a different rom than the code was designed for. There are whole types of codes which desmume doesn't support; I would expect those just not to do anything, but maybe they break it. Would need an opinion from a cheater on that.

Most likely it's a problem from the AR code you used. Using multiple codes at once modify the game and can make it crash/freeze if it comes to an unexpected situation. I've known this when I tried it on my GBA (which is now collecting dust in my basement ever since I got a DS). It just depends on the code you use and what it's used for in the game.

So what should you do? Uninstall / Reinstall?

acknowlege that cheats dont always work, read what xmsfel6 said, and give up.
