4th Generation Pokemon game speed problems
I've tried the new build with both Platinum and Diamond, and both have some speed issues. The game tends to run slowly outside of battles.

Pokemon isn't perfect with desmume. For me, battles run fine and certain areas where there isn't too much going on are fast too, like Pastoria City and some routes.
Big cities like Hearthome and Veilstone are pretty slow on my PC, and I have a Core i7 920 and a ATI 4850. There really isn't much you can do with it except wait as the developers keep improving the emulator.

For me, this is the only emulator that will actually save the game. I have to restart on the other emulators (IdeaS, NO$GBA).
