In game date problems

Hi, i've been playing on desmume for about a week now, specifically i'm playing Zelda Spirit Tracks and i stumbled upon a problem.
In Zelda ST, there is supposed to be a daily renewal, meaning that every IRL day things changes in the game (new items sold every day, lottery's result, etc).
The problem is that i seem to be stuck on the same day forever, since in a week not a single item has changed and my lottery result will NEVER come.
Ive tried to change windows date, since i know on ds it would work to advance date manually, but nothing has changed.
Am i stuck forever on the same day because i'm on emulator and therefore CANNOT access this part of the game, or is there PLEASE something i can do ?
Thanks for replies coming

Re: In game date problems

DO NOT USE SAVESTATES; save in-game, close the emulator, change the system date, then open the game and load your save file. That should work.

Re: In game date problems

Spirit Tracks depends on the DS RTC, and changing the Windows date alone usually won’t affect it. Make sure RTC is enabled in DeSmuME, avoid using save states, and always save in-game and fully close the emulator between sessions so time can advance. If it still doesn’t update, it’s likely an emulator limitation rather than a problem with your save file.
