"The save data could not be accessed"

Trying to boot up Pokemon volt white 2 (and a normal rom of white 2) and constantly getting this message when trying to attempt to hit new game. i tried booting up my old patch of blaze black and that one was working just fine. Ive tried redownloading everything multiple times to no luck. i saw a previous thread on a similar topic but it just ended with zeromus getting mad at someone for not knowing what "dearchive" is and just telling the guy to dearchive over and over again lol.
anyway I wanna play volt white 2 so i assume the place the program wants to crate a save is fucked somehow but all the information under "path settings" are the same between black and white. no idea why volt white (and and multiple different unpatched white roms) are specifically having issues. im going to try redownloading desmune i guess but it doesnt make sense if other roms are still working why desmune would be the source of the problem.

well I fresh installed desmune (even tho its the same patch) and its working now so all good i guess
sidenote: all of the threads on here i looked at to see if others had similar problems were all cut short and all had zeromus being an obtuse, unhelpful, and frankly an asshole to most people he was interacting with lmao. i get randos on the internet suck ass most of the time but jesus why even respond to people on here if youre going to act like that lmao.
welp i fixed my issue so i will never return to these forums go suck a fat one zeromus
