My brother accidently loaded a save state and my old main save is gone

So, when i was playing pokemon platinum, my brother accidently loaded a save state, which i created when i started the game.

I was way more ahead than the save state when this happened. I'm totally out of my mind now. I looked upon youtube, but didn't got a solution. Is there any way to get back my main save?

depends. if you're using the newest version of desmume, search your disk for (backups) directories which make new states whenever one is loaded. if you're not using the newest version of desmume, you'll have to rely on your backups. you have backups of important documents you're investing hours in, don't you? If not, maybe your operating system does.
