Pro controller issue

So I have an issue with my pro controller not being automatically connected each time I turn on my comp. It's synced on bluetooth but I still have to have it wired. When ever I restart the computer though, the controller wont work even when wired. However when I go to the configuration, it seems to respond to me inputting commands from the controller with bluetooth. However it doesn't seem to work with the game itself. I usually do things like disconnect my controller on bluetooth and reconnect and that seems to work somehow although I still have to wire it up.

Actually I guess I don't have to wire it but I do still have to disconnect and reconnect for the controller to work
