Dragon Quest Monster Joker 2 not working ?

Hi guys,

First of all I want to state that I am totally new to the emulating thing so I don't know a lot of stuff about it. I've dled the desmume emulator to play DQMJ2 and when launching game I'm stuck at the home screen, I can go up and down switching between "New Game", "Continue", etc. I've tried to change the control settings by biding different keys but nothing change I can't select an option to start playing.

delete your desmume.ini file to undo what you messed up
use config > control config
see what key is bound to each button.
You need to press the A button, since this is a nintendo game, which is the X key
