Chrono Trigger´s Sparkling Console won't let me get on with the game

Hey guys, i've been playing Chrono Trigger for a couple of hours now and i'm stuck in Arris Dome. I can't make the password work. I've seen a lot of stuff about putting the A,R and L on the same button because the emulated version of Chrono Trigger isn't able to press them all at once but i can't seem to do it. The input section won't allow me to. Can you help me? Cheers

google auto-hold or use a gamepad
