Hi, sorry for replying so late, our timezones are very different.
As for the default-created plist, when it was created, it's pretty much empty, but as I save the preferences, it starts filling itself up. Still, it's quite different from the broken one, so I'll play around with the settings and see how it goes.

EDIT: It works! The string you're looking for is "DisplayView_VideoFilter". Set that to 0 and you're good to go! Also, I deleted a string that I think was called "DisplayView_VideoSize", which had a unit of 300. If changing "DisplayView_VideoFilter" didn't work, delete the VideoSize string as well. Thank You!

If there are any more problems, feel free to ask in this thread, and if you haven't encountered this problem before, remember to backup your preferences. It's found at "/Users/[USERNAME]/Library/Preferences/org.desmume.DeSmuME.plist". You may have to use the Shift-Command-Dot Hotkey in finder to view the Library folder. Cheers!

Hi, I got a similar issue, which was evidently caused by enabling a pixel scaler, and saving it. Deleting the preferences does fix the issue, but I am getting really tired of reconfiguring my mappings every time I accidentally click "save settings as default" in the video settings. Recently, I got myself a GUI-based plist editor literally called PlistEdit Pro, thinking I could change the settings manually and change my pixel scaler settings back to default, while preserving my input configurations. However, after fiddling around with the settings, I was still unable to fix the issue. Any help?

I'm on macOS Mojave by the way, and my graphics card is Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 1536 MB. I'm currently running what I believe is the latest version of DeSmuME, version 0.9.12. As for the macOS preference file editor, PlistEdit Pro can be found here (though it's not free). I would post screenshots and the preference file itself, but I'm still quite new to the forums, and I'm not sure how to do that yet. Thanks!
