Hello,
I can't get to find a tutorial or something about how AVI recording works on desmume, so I'm asking on the forum:
Every time I record a video of a game, it looks ugly and totaly blurred. I know the resolution of the DS is kinda low, and emulators tend to blur that to make games look better, but it just makes it uglier here.

this is how the game looks http://prntscr.com/hrlb2q
this is how the video looks http://prntscr.com/hrlbdr
and I've already tried everything with this box that pops up at the beginning of the video (including changing the value of the quality to 0 and 100), with no success at all http://prntscr.com/hrlbjz

useless info imo:
I'm TASing a game (tool assisted speedrun)
My desmume's language is french

Thanks

Hey I'm actually working on a TAS (tool assisted speedrun) on "Monster Tale" and decided to use Desmume as my emulator because this http://tasvideos.org/EmulatorResources.html said it was a "prefered" emulator (and because I already use it)

So as you saw in the title, I got some RNG (random number generation) issues, I know that Monster Tale's RNG is based on the DS clock, wich is, in desmume, windows' internal clock... Yup, so I can't manipulate randomness... And as you probably know if you're a speedrunner, TASing is impossible without manipulating RNG in most of the games.

I'd like to know if there is a way to give a fake seed to Desmume (example: when the game starts, ask for the time, and then he incements it by 1 every 60 frames)
Or maybe you could help me to find a way manipulating windows' clock PRECISELY, that could fix my problem too

Thank you!

I tryed, but it didn't work...
I saw that it wasn't only on anno, so I tred to redownload desmume, but in x64 there was only the same, and... it worked XD

Anyway, thank you for your answer, and have a nice week end ^^

I got some problems with displaying with the game anno (not realy a popular one ^^, so I couldn't find it on the net)
http://prntscr.com/8zepnm
as you can see here, if you know the game, I selected a zone, and the trees in that zone are a little bit more white, that's okay, but the ground should be white too... (that's not a big problem, I can ignore that) but it's the same while searching treasures (in this game you need to search a treasure in the ocean, and when your boat approches the treasure, a black cross should apear at the place where the treasure is) but when I search for it, no cross, at the beginning I tought I just didn't find it, but 20 minutes later, I found him, and the cross only appeared when the drawing of the boat was over the drawing of the cross (sorry for my bad english), so it makes the job very hard...

Does anyone know if I can fix these display problems in the configs? I tryed every option in the "display" section in "config", but none fixes my problem, even if I reboot the game... Thank you ^^
