the gameplay was fine until I got to the the boss battle in gust temple...as soon as I stepped in the boss arena both screens were blinking in and out making it extremely difficult to see. it also blinks upon start up but doesn't any other time in the game. please help so I can take down this boss! thanks

hey guys Idk if anyone else has experienced this problem but I have had no problems with the game at all up until I got to pinwheel forest. during a battle I unplugged my mouse (don't think that had anything to with it) and ever since I did that, now when I get to a battle and select a move it goes straight to the summary of the move for some reason. ive tried restarting the rom, please help
