Oh thanks. Like 3D rendering, does it have that? What type of programming is that?

So I am slightly new to coding, and it will just be a pastime. I want to build emulators aswell. But when I viewed the source code I was slightly shocked that I did not understand ALOT of it. I have learned alot but what should I study to possibly help with the DeSmuME project or make my own emulator?
edit - also for the person that made this. Was it a group effort or just 1 person?

What improvements were made with the newest version? Its amazing! Jam Sessions seems to flicker with black. Still, the fact that it loaded at all shows a major improvement.

Just wanted to add this for the list.

there is another emulator? To bad you guys can not merge and see if having both would not make all the main fixes, Since you guys seem to have opposite troubles.

Seeing that this emulator was written in C AND it wasnt pre-compiled. Wine should run this fine aswell. (note that wine is NOT an emulator as its name suggests.)

#6 Re: General » Official CVS builds? » 2008-05-02 02:41:06

This is exciting. Yea it wasnt my graphics card as much as it was my drivers. Testing under Linux seemed to really make it beautiful!

STL stands for? I would like to test the texture cache issue. See if it resolves some issues....

The 3D core would be nice to improve. Is the slow speed for me a speed issue or a "talk" to the graphics card thats not interpreting right. Though my brothers graphics card seems to be fine, and the video stays smooth.

I have a crappy graphics card. I havnt checked but hopefully this .exe will work for Linux (under wine) BUT Trauma Center: Under the Knife works for 8.0 now (used to white screen) so AWESOME improvements. Though I have crappy support for my card on VISTA so it goes slow. SO I want to check it on Linux were I have miraculous support for my graphics card. ALSO my brother gets home from college soon. He has a nice graphics card. I will update as I learn.

GOOD UPDATE!

If I can help more, I have some knowledge in the coding field. Thanks for making this open source smile
Is the .exe going to be open source? I read that it was written in C. Also does the author chill on these forums?

#10 Re: General » Very important! suggest: how to have touch screen on PSP » 2007-10-15 23:44:02

DS on PSP is worthless, personally because you have to continually switch between screens... if your not enjoying your PSP games, sell the crap.
notice that now ones tried to emulate PSP games onto DS..... why? because PSP games are low on the totem poll. its like having a portable PS1.

yea i didnt think it was the graphics.... there all just sprites... nice sprites or not nice... there sprites dammit tongue
but Mario hoops 3 on 3 is different obviously. But yea i think its probably the missing plugins, im currently looking for a site that has some good coding thats close to what the master code gives

#14 Re: Support II (decommissioned) » Megaman ZX Regular Saves » 2007-10-13 00:06:49

one thing that i do (also for my R4DS) is create my sav file before hand just to make sure its all good.... so instead of having 1 kb its 526 kb... atleast i think.... anyawys you just have to make a file with notepad or w.e and save it with teh SAME name as the game file but add .sav at the end.... tell me how that goes smile
