My computer is not near my router so I can't easily plug in.  I was thinking about a way to solve this.  I was wondering if it would be possible to bridge my wireless connection to my Ethernet/LAN connection in the network and sharing center so the computer would think the internet signal was coming through the LAN connection and would be able to use this with desmume wifi.  I know this can be done with a router (or gaming adapter) used as a wireless bridge because I have tried it before at a friends place but is it possible to do from within the computer itself so there is no need for the extra equipment (which I don't currently have)?  Any thoughts on how this could be accomplished?

as I said earlier, it was working fine for me and I could play full speed with no issue, this is a new problem that only started recently.  Overheating wouldn't have just started out of the blue

I am using speed fan, I can see the temp level of all components and it dosn't go higher then any other game.  Everything else works fine.

I have tried other games and all have the same problem.  I know desmume will work fine because it has in the past.  As I stated " this is a new issue".  As for game booster, I only installed it because someone told me it would help on another forum yesterday.

The problem I am having is that desmume will run fine for about 20 or 30 minutes (at about 50 FPS), then my speed will drop all of the sudden to an unbearably slow speed between 10 and 20 FPS.  This is a new problem so I know desmume can work fine on my computer but ill put my computer specs bellow just in case.  I have tried re-downloading desmume, new roms, deleting the ini file, a full virus/malware scan, and using Game Booster premium v2.3 to close background processes.  Nothing works.  The main game I am trying to play is pokemon heart gold (U) patched but this problem exists on many other games as well.

Acer aspire 8930g (windows 7)
Intel core 2 duo P8600 (2.4ghz)

I am running desmume 0.9.7 on my acer aspire 8930g laptop. I have a 2.4GHz duel core processor and 4gb ddr3 ram with 2815mb video ram. I run desmume fine, full speed (55-60 FPS) for about 20 or 30 minutes with a patched heart gold (U) rom and then after that, my FPS drops down to between 15 and 20. I know my computer can handle desmume as this is a new issue. Anyone know the solution or have this problem as well? I have this problem even with no other programs running. I have tried re-downloading desmume, different roms,  a program called GameBooster premium v2.3, and a full virus/malware scan.  Nothing seems to work.
