@Manivo: I was trying to use a code from the provided site in the FAQ since they were recommended codes...the site is " http://us.codejunkies.com/Departments/DS-and-GBA.aspx" and it was the one for maximum medical items on Soulsilver.
Also, Manivo, I made a mistake...something about posting a savefile with "warez" on another topic you were helping me with, the pokemon capsule stickers. Since they closed it down, I was wondering if you could e-mail me so we can continue working together, I don't think I should repost my help topic. Thanks a lot if you're willing to continue communication a bit concerning that issue. 

@Zeromus: Good point, not much difference....but when you add new things that still need testing...I'd rather not be the one testing them until people say thumbs up, we can incorporate this safely in the next official model. I'm a scaredy cat. Also...yeah, I can ask other forums about button sequence and what not, but my confusion is relative, so I thought I'd throw in that question here while I'm at it smile, you guys are likely awesome seasoned pokemon players and what not.

Btw, where in the game do you press the code activation keys? And is the sequence pressing L and R at the same time, or press and hold L then add R...lol, I know that might be a silly question, but I need to make sure just in case it's a picky system 0_0;

I upgraded to 9.6, but I'm actually kind of scared to use a SVN since those are like prototypes, right? I'm not sure I can be brave enough to trust a prototype since something could go wrong D:? Idk, how has it been working? Any reported success with AR so far~?

It's on softrasterizer...and I tried switching back to openGL just in case that was the issue...no luck D:. Any other ideas~? 0.0;

Okay, I successfully transferred my game file into the official 9.6 version, and tested out whether or not the decorated capsules would work this time. Well, it worked twice and then stopped! So...lol, can we discuss this a bit?

So I am using the US SoulSilver with the version of DeSmuME that works for me right now, 9.5, and I properly attached seals/stickers to the top halves of capsules and the capsules onto my pokemon, but they are not appearing in battle! Is there a setting I need to change? What's going on...?

Hello, I have never been able to understand AR...I've tried multiple methods to try and get it to work, but to no avail.

I am certain I am using the USA release of Pokemon SoulSilver on the official 9.5 version of DeSmuME (windows XP, 0.9.5 x 86). I have done these steps: cheats >list >action replay> copy and paste AR code from 'http://us.codejunkies.com/search/codes/ … 17___.aspx'>save >press (L+R) in various sequences and moments of running the game (at start up, at the menu where you click on your in game save file, during general game play, and inside the inventory menu). I know that there is still progress that the DeSmuME team is trying to make with making cheats more and more accessable and that I may not be able to use some codes, but I've seen many instances where people have said, "hey, it works now..." or "hey, just do it like this cause it works for me"...and I can't seem to understand how to activate or use AR codes like these folks. I have exhausted the forum and faq...and other sources from a simple internet search like Yahoo Answers, Youtube, and other forums. Instructions like "AR Codes and DeSmuMe for Dummies" don't seem to exist, lol.  Maybe it's a simple step I missed. Maybe you might think I'm dense. Even if the answer to my problem is a simple step, I would like to hear it, cause I'm stuck.... and have no choice but to come here and ask -_-;.

Actually, also, what is the cheat converter meant for? My assumption initially is to translate codes that would normally only work with a physical DS?

Is it possible at all to use the cheat converter from 9.6 for 9.5? Just curious cause I believe that is not how files work, but it's worth the shot.

Actually, I think the report may have helped *shrugs*. The problem disintegrated the next day after this post. Just thought I'd let you know smile. So...but if 9.4 is in fact "buggy" in the end, I'll switch as suggested. Thanks.

I got an error message and the dang thing crashed after I was so so excited that I shrieked when I won. Lol. Well anyway, I challenged the champion again using my handy dandy saved state, won, saved my state again before I reached the crashing point (in the hall of fame) and when I reached my previous crash point, it. crashed. again. Will time after sending the error report twice fix the problem, or is there something else I can do.

or rather, for Pokemon Pearl, are there no cheats that we can use as of yet? ...Maybe it's the fact that my computer only seems to support up to version 9.4 of DeSmuME, and that's what I've been trying to enter codes into using the list function under cheats and entering codes that come up on google under "pokemon pearl action replay codes".  Maybe 9.5 likes codes better.

I think I have read what is your forum...It didn't say anything about the games not starting up. I'm not referring to any save files, I can't get the ROM file itself to open up whatsoever.

The screen remains white...I can't get ROMs to open up on it! Do I need to download newer versions of the ROM, or is my Windows XP no longer able to handle the graphic technology of the new emulator.
And...while I'm here, lol, I thought I may as well ask how to use a stylus smoothly. Simply: have good mouse skills to manipulate it? Last time I attempted using it (for making whatever those new berry concoctions are), I would lose every time D:. ^^; I also figured maybe it's just the computer capability I'm running off of.  ...Or, perhaps it's not possible to use the stylus efficiently in an emulator.. hmm

Trading pokemon to the girl in Ore-something or other town where the first badge comes from. We were gonna trade machop and abra, and I didn't even have any backup saved games. I feel foolish about that...In any case, is there anyone who knows about a specific way to help the trade along? Or is it just a bug?
