much less headache than compiling from source. Note that 0.9.4 compiled fine on my system but I need 0.9.5 to get a few games to run that won't run on 0.9.4.
Yeah, I used NO$GBA with this game at first but switched to Desmume cause no$gba was too buggy and unstable for Dragon Quest iv.
Fyi, I'm running it on Linux, compiled from source.
It doesn't for me so that's what i had to do for this game
And yes, I'm using 0.9.4
Go to Config -> Saves -> FRAM 256-kbit instead of Autodetect and then reset your Desmume.
If "FRAM 256-kbit" doesnt work, try all of the options under the "Saves" menu until you get one that'll load your saves.
Of course, you can rely on save states.. which was what i've been doing until I just discovered this solution.
