Is there anyway to convert the .dsv saves files from Desmume 0.9.4 to an R4 card or do .dsv work in R4 cards?

I downloaded 0.9.4 and it worked for a couple of days, recently when I try to open it keeps telling me it cannot find a sound driver and it cannot initialize Directsound.
